Bicycle's Continental Rummy description permits melding only when the entire hand can go out. A prepared group alone does not authorize early placement.
Label a demonstration without changing it
Hypothetical, no-stakes paper exercise: a teaching sheet shows three cards arranged together inside a rectangle labelled Hand. Call that cluster A. Other cards remain in the rectangle without labels. A second rectangle, Table, is empty.
Write two annotations beside A: its current location and whether its arrangement has been checked. These answer different questions. A tidy arrangement is visible evidence about organization; it is not evidence that the remaining cards have been examined.
Use the description “A arranged inside Hand” for the first picture. Avoid “A placed on Table”, because the drawing does not show that movement. The exercise records the supplied scene instead of supplying missing events.
Find the missing step in a transcript
A second sheet contains three boxes: X shows A prepared; Y says “whole-hand check”; Z shows a completed display. Draw arrows from X to Y and Y to Z. At Y, write the actual result of the supplied check, or “not supplied”.
Now deliberately erase Y. The shortcut from X to Z conceals a condition. Circle that missing box rather than inventing a successful check. This is a way to audit an explanation, not instructions for choosing cards.
If a teacher supplies a corrected transcript, retain both versions with clear labels. That lets another reader see exactly which omitted event caused the misunderstanding, without having to reconstruct it from memory.
Separate observation from permission
Finish with three short fields: observed arrangement, checked condition, observed location. Enter A, the recorded result at Y, and the rectangle containing A. An unanswered field stays unanswered.
This annotation method cannot establish whether the cards themselves form valid sequences. It also describes no Rummy Noble app control. Its output is a labelled demonstration with explicit gaps, not a playing recommendation.
